CHURCH OF ALL SAINTS

Pearson had already designed the contiguous Vicarage in 1883, when he was commissioned by Cannon Thomas Peacey to design the church proper.

Built in the style of 13c. Gothic on a massive scale.
The chancel and sanctuary were not completed until 1901: the original design included a tower and spire, but funds ran out in 1908, and remains uncompleted.

Date: 1889
Architect: J.L.Pearson
